It's a Girl!

Baby Doane is here, and it's a girl! She was born last night at 11:01 pm, 21 inches long, weighing in at a hearty 8 pounds, 15 ounces.

Miya was amazing and labored for close to 30 hours but in the end, the babe was born by C-Section. Miya and baby are both doing great. Both are beautiful and loves of my life.

Baby Doane doesn't have an official name just yet, partly because we have a couple of names we like and partly because we were sure it was a boy! More pictures and a name to follow.

    Congrats to you both! Thank goodness for modern medicine! I too ended up having c-sections after LONG labors (and pushing phases) with both my girls. In the end you still have a beautiful baby girl. Enjoy your sweet little bundle of joy!
