Aleena Eats Carrots!

After practicing with rice cereal for a week or two, Aleena tried her first "real" food yesterday...carrots! Mommy blended up some steamed carrots in the Baby Bullet (courtesy of William and Addison Alseth) and hoped for the best. It was hard to tell if she really liked it or not, but she finished it all. Aleena Plays With Her New Toy!

Mia and Hayden Tran were nice enough to let Aleena borrow an excersaucer that they no longer used. She likes it because there are so many fun things to play with, and her feet can touch the ground. Here is a short video of Aleena enjoying her new toy:

Aleena Eats Food!

Aleena took her first step towards being a "Big Girl" by trying her first food, rice cereal! She seemed to like it, and Mommy did a nice job of keeping it in her mouth and off of her face. Here are a couple of videos that capture the action:

Aleena Turns 5 Months Old!

Aleena celebrated her 5 month birthday on Friday. She enjoyed checking out her cake and her parents enjoyed eating it after she went to bed. Here is a short video of her enjoying the festivities:
