Aleena Gets Sick

Baby Aleena gave us our first real scare a couple of weeks ago. She was wheezing pretty heavily and had trouble sleeping, so we had to take her to children's hospital. They gave her some medicine for an hour through a breathing mask:
















She fell asleep after the first five minutes, and after an hour of medicine, was feeling much better!






She was eventually diagnosed with Whooping Cough and had to take antibiotics and spend 5 days at home with Mommy and Daddy (1 with Nanna and Poppa). She is all better now and because they caught it so early, she never developed the "whooping" part of the cough. She is back to her normal happy self and back to daycare with her friends. It was a scary experience but we are happy our doctor caught it early. In fact, Aleena is feeling so good these days that her and Mommy participated in their dance class today at Creative Dance Center!

Aleena Goes To Greenlake!

Aleena took advantage of the nice weather this weekend and treated Mommy and Daddy to a picnic at Greenlake. She ate lunch, played in the grass, went for a walk, and took a snooze. Here are some pics of her fun day:

Aleena Is A Speedster!

Aleena is 8 Months Old!

Aleena has blessed our lives for 8
months now. She can crawl, say "Dada", eat with us at the dinner table, swim, and make us the happiest parents in the world every day of the week! Here she is celebrating with Mommy and Daddy:

Happy Easter!

Aleena enjoyed her first Easter. She went to church in the morning, enjoyed some Easter brunch, and helped Daddy find some eggs during the Easter egg hunt. Here is a pic of her showing off her new Easter outfit:
