Great Grandma Goes To Heaven :(

Aleena Rose Doane.  Her middle name comes from her Great Grandmother Rosemary Doane.  Great Grandma Rosemary went to Heaven last week after a brief illness.  Aleena was lucky enough to meet her and hang out with her on several occasions, and Great Grandma asked about her all the time.  She would always end each phone call with "...and give that beautiful baby a kiss for me...".  Daddy and Mommy miss Great Grandma a lot, but are blessed that she got a chance to meet Aleena, hold her in her arms, and fall in love with her.  We love you Great Grandma!

Aleena Goes To The Zoo And Beach!

Aleena had a busy weekend! First, she helped celebrate her friend Jaya's birthday at the zoo. Here are some pics of her checking out the animals:

























Then she hung out at Edmonds Beach. It was her first time feeling the ocean water!

Aleena Updated!

Aleena has been up to a lot of fun stuff since her birthday. She has enjoyed playing with her new toys, including the Red Rider trike that Uncle Corey got her:





She has also discovered the black berries at the end of the street and enjoys munching on them:









And she has taken advantage of the nice weather by going on walks with Mommy and Daddy and playing at the playground:
