Aleena Goes To Leavenworth

Aleena went to Leavenworth with her parents, Nanna and Poppa, and Uncle Corey. She saw the Christmas tree lighting and shopped for a new stocking. Here are some pics of her hanging out around town:

Aleena Meets Santa!

Aleena is 4 Months Old!

Aleena turned 4 months old today! She celebrated with a birthday cupcake (that Mommy and Daddy ate) and a Happy Birthday song:

Aleena Picks Out A Christmas Tree

Aleena picked out her very first Christmas tree! She and Mommy looked around for a long time:




After searching and searching, she spotted the perfect tree:

Apple Cup

Aleena Goes To Montana

Aleena made the long trip (short flight) to visit her grandparents in Stevensville, Montana. She did great on the plane. Here is a pic of her and Mommy enjoying the plane ride:




Aleena hasn't seen Grandpa and Grandma since they visited her in the hospital when she was born. Here are some pics of her hanging with them:












Aleena loves her Grandma and Grandpa and is happy that she gets to visit for a few more days before flying home on Tuesday!

Happy Halloween!

Aleena has a busy Halloween weekend. First, she dressed up with her pals Reggie and Mia:




Then, she attended a party for the Centering Group at Swedish Hospital that Mommy and Daddy used to go to before she was born:




Finally, she showed off her costume one last time on Halloween night and did some trick-or-treating. We went to 2 houses before we got cold and went back inside:




Baby's first Halloween was a success! Next up, Thanksgiving!

2 Month Birthday and Pumpkin Farm!

Aleena celebrated her 2 month birthday on the same day as Pappa's (Grandpa Cheng) birthday! After enjoying some yummy Chinese food, Aleena blew out the 2 candles on her cake:





A few days later Aleena enjoyed her first visit to the pumpkin farm. Craven Farms was fun and we picked out the perfect pumpkin!

Recent Aleena Events

Aleena has been a busy baby these last few weeks. She got to meet her Great Great Grandma Rosemary (Aleena's middle name is named after her). Here is a pic of them getting to know each other after eating some pizza:




She has also started to be comfortable sitting on Dad's lap:




And she loves taking warm baths, especially when Mommy is there to wrap her in a towel afterwards:




Finally, she is starting to appreciate the beauty of lounging around the house:




It's hard to believe that she is almost 2 months old already! Mommy is doing a great job of taking care if her on a daily basis, I know it's hard work. She is 24 inches long now, and probably growing more as you read this. Her 2 month birthday is on the 13th, so look for another blog post soon!

1 Month Birthday

Today is Aleena's 1 month birthday. Mommy took her for a drink at Starbucks and a walk around Greenlake. Then her grandparents came over to celebrate and eat cake. Happy 1 month birthday Aleena Rose Doane!
